Orlando Mission Project

Since the beginning of Youth With A Mission Orlando in 1993, we have been a dynamic family with a clear purpose of taking the light of the Gospel to the ends of the earth. This is done by teams involved in evangelism, training, and mercy ministries. Our location is ideal for launching missionaries around the world. But more important, it is the perfect hub for attracting prospective missionary talent from Miami to Houston to as far away as Vancouver.

Our strategy is to train and send teams repeatedly to these areas of focus until a long-term, reproducing work is established. In fact, by the year 2020 we hope to have planted 20 Youth With A Mission bases and 100 churches in these targeted areas. This will only be possible by God’s grace and if people like you obey His call on your lives. I urge you to ask God what He would have you do! Maybe He will lead you to partner with us here at YWAM Orlando as we launch passionate missionary teams around the world!

Project List for 2013

• Renovation of RV park (200+ sites)
  This would include clearing land, fixing water lines, locating sanitary lines and fixing them. Potentially digging new trenches for new power lines to be installed, removing trees and shrubs.
  
  
• Landscape (yard work)
  For 150+ acres a lot of brush removal and "land demolition".
  
  
• Skilled labor
  This will depend on where we are at that point in time (if it were to happen next week I would ask for the following)
  • Flooring know how (carpet and tile)
  • Finish know how (trim, window casing, bath vanities and towel racks, hanging light fixtures)
  • Drywall finishers (hanging, tape, mud and texture)
  • Plumbers (basic know how, running lines, finish under sinks and showers and installing toilets)
  • HVAC people (cleaning and maintaining units, installing duct work and wiring units)
  • Framers for large pavilion (metal frame interior wall construction and metal frame exterior construction).

  Mechanic for combustion and compression engines.
